Vote for me, please?

Hey guys! I am so excited to share this with you guys. A couple of days ago I was nominated for the Social Revolucionario award in the Mobilizer category. The award ceremony will take place during SXSW. I'm so honored to have this opportunity. As most of you know, I have been in a wheelchair since I was three, due to a birth defect. Growing up was hard, I got bullied a lot. I often felt alone, and even felt like I was the ugliest person ever. Even with the support of my mom, I still had to figure out how to love myself, and value my differences. I always say, even if everyone around you tells you that you're beautiful, it doesn't matter if you don't feel the same way. High school was awkward for me(as it is for most teens), but dealing with being in a wheelchair (only student in a wheelchair) made it even more of a hard and awkward four years. When I was younger I developed a love for fashion. Fashion was what made me happy when the other children made fun of me. During high school I decided that I would study journalism, to become a fashion journalist. The day before my senior prom, I decided to start a fashion blog. I wanted to be apart of  a community that understood my love of fashion, and I also didn't want to feel out of place anymore. I have to admit I didn't start my blog to be an inspiration or role model. But my mom pointed out to me that, with my blog I had a voice that could help other disabled girls. It took awhile for me to understand that I could help other girls. So I did. This blog is my baby, I take great pride in it. I want to make sure every girl, disabled or not, can look in the mirror and say "I'm beautiful." That is really my goal, and if I when this award I hope I can change a young girl's outlook on themselves, and their future.  Please vote for me HERE. I would appreciate it a lot.
